Week round up....
This week has been a busy one....
Monday - meet with a dentist to do Xrays and exam (Dr Zahedi). She is 7 parts Dr, 3 parts mom. This was one of the warmest dental visits I have ever had. She was empathetic and helpful with setting expectations. Things to look for and to ask in my upcoming meetings. Just a wonderful woman and experience.
Tuesday - Wisdom tooth extraction with Dr. Adechoubou. Another wow moment. My wisdom tooth was extracted and the most painful part was the numbing shot. He talked the entire way through the procedure letting me know what to expect, what he was doing and what I could hear or feel. His constant reassurance and the fact there were no suprises made it a great experience.
Thursday A - Meet with Chemo team. Dr Alesi walked me through was to expect and help answer any questions we had. She was upbeat and positive even when reminding me that this process unfortunately.... sucks.
We hit up Bandito's for lunch (my normal after MTB riding joint) and had a good meal. Since I have a hole in the back of my mouth, I got a burrito bowl so I could chew on one side without fear of doing any damage. Amy got a salad.... Booo!

Thursday B - Meet with Radiation team. Dr Song was also great. He mixed in casual speak while also making sure to let Amy know the specific technical terms. We went over the process as well, the expectations, the complications, etc... His demeanor and overall aura makes me comfortable he will be leading the radiation.
Thursday C - follow up with ENT. Dr Reiter also went over expectations and how things should play out. He offered me the opportunity to ask follow up questions I may have thought of during lunch for the Chemo/Radiation teams. It was more info and more ensuring I understood I can reach out with questions through out the process.
Thursday D - Scheduled another dentist for an exam on an old root canal with an extrodonarily upbeat woman named Michelle. I guess I will meet her on Monday.
There us a ton of info coming at me right now.
Amy went with me on Thursday to act as an interpretter.

Overall it was just info for what is coming and what to expect.
As for me...
I am just looking at what is next and making sure it happens.
